Supercap UPS - 3.3 or 5V
PCB UPSU is a small DC UPS solution for mounting on a PCB (or wiring). The module has a Supercap/Ultracap for energy storage, which makes PCB UPSU free of maintenance and provides high cycle life.
PCB UPSU protects your electronics from voltage interruptions and provides a regulated output voltage.
PCB UPSU is a simple to implement and maintenance-free solution, if an electronic has to do something in case of power input failure, e.g. to transmit a security power-fail-information over GSM.

Note: Pin Header is not assembled. It can either be mounted on top or on bottom layer. Please refer to the datasheet.
Runtime in case of input voltage failure: 17 s @ 1 W load.
Safety notes:
Parts of the iub may become hot, risk of skin burn. Supercapacitors have a high power density, risk of very high danger short circuits. Always mount the iub on spacers and keep conductive parts away. The Supercapacitors may still contain danger energy, if they "look" discharged. Taking the iub carefully into operation and taking care while handling it is very important.
