ATmega328P stand-alone board with FTDI programming
🟢 ATmega328P-Based Microcontroller Development Board
Designed by: Toumi Karim
🔧 Overview:
This is a custom-built development board centered around the ATmega328P microcontroller — the same MCU used in Arduino Uno. It’s ideal for embedded systems learners, electronics hobbyists, and DIY prototyping. The board includes essential components for programming, power regulation, and interfacing with peripherals.
🔍 Key Features:
✅ Microcontroller:
ATmega328P-PU with preloaded bootloader
Operates at 16 MHz (via crystal oscillator)
✅ Power Supply:
Barrel jack input (7–12V DC)
On-board voltage regulator (3.3V and 5V rails)
✅ Programming Interface:
6-pin FTDI header (DTR, RX, TX, VCC, CTS, GND)
Compatible with USB to Serial adapters
✅ User Interface:
One tactile push button for RESET
1 built in LED pin 13
✅ Expandability:
Female headers for all digital and analog pins
Clearly labeled pins: D0–D13, A0–A5, VCC, GND, RESET, 3.3V
✅ Additional Components:
16 MHz crystal oscillator with capacitors
Power filtering capacitors
Pull-up/pull-down resistors
